Bytessence PasswordManager
Bytessence PasswordManager is a
free / open source personal information management tool, created from
the need of remembering data like logins and passwords for different
websites. It is known that many internet services are offered with such
logins so the quantity of passwords users need to remember grows
dramatically, reaching a point where users will write them on paper or
simple text files, making them a potential victim of data theft. Screenshots

What's new in version 3.0 (14 Nov 2008)
- Added new, powerful encryption (AES-256 + SHA-256) for v3 containers
- Added support for multi-line comments
- Added text formatting capabilities for the comments (bold, italic, color change, bullets, etc.) and the URLs are automatically detected
- Added group nesting feature (ListView replaced by TreeView)
- Added expand all groups/collapse all groups options
- Added possibility to move a group to the left or to the right
- Added find / find next functions to search for text in the entries
- Added new security features (auto clipboard clearing and container backup)

- Changed the name of the program to Bytessence PasswordManager

- The program is now open source (licensed under GPL v3)
